Sierra Lemieux finds herself homeless and single after learning her fiance has been cheating on her. Not the best start for traveling back to her hometown for her best friend Jackson’s wedding. She has a plan for everything, always opting for what’s safe, but her ex-fiance Peter was safe and look where that got her. Nowhere.

When she agreed to move in to Jackson’s old apartment, Sierra didn’t realize she’d be living with Jackson’s younger brother Beau for a month. Being co-parents to a foster puppy, definitely didn’t have a plan for that one. Falling for Beau when she told herself all along it was a fling and he’d be leaving for the X Games in Aspen at the end of the month? Also not according to plan.

Beau Shanahan is the polar opposite of stability, with his professional snowboarding career, constant travel, and multitude of flings. He just goes wherever life takes him. He’s had a crush on Sierra since high school, but she made it clear that he’s just her best friend’s younger brother. It’s not going to happen. At least it wasn’t back then, but now Beau is all grown up and it’s clear that Sierra is attracted to him. Their month long roommate situation is giving him hope, but what can their future hold when he’s set to leave.
