Do you believe in love at first sight? At the airport Tanner can’t believe what he’s hearing when eavesdropping on an attractive flight attendant. She’s talking with a coworker about starting an online business Scent from Rachel selling her personal items. His interest is peaked when she receipts a quote he grew up hearing, helps him retrieve his bag, and gives him advice for his important work meeting to close a deal worth millions. Her advice to “get him talking about his boat” made him a boat load of money.

Tanner wants to repay her for helping him close the deal, but all he has to go off of is the website name. He poses as a client Mr. X, ordering regularly from her website to send her funds. He keeps his distance as the anonymous Mr. X, until they run into each other at an auction where he buys the house she wanted. Rachel is too prideful of doing things on her own to accept Tanner’s constant attempts to help her. She’s met her match as Tanner is just as stubborn, constantly showing up even when turned away. They infuriate each other, but sparks fly as they spend more time together. Rachel finds herself falling for him, especially when she finds him asleep on the couch with her house rabbit snuggled into his chest. He broke down her walls, but will she force him back out of her life when she discovers he’s Mr. X?
