Sage is 23 years old, broke, and desperate for money to support her and her mother. She’d hoped her mom’s depression from her dad leaving would be better by now, but it’s not, and her two jobs aren’t enough to cover her student loans and their living expenses. At least she has Mr. dark and stormy to cheer her up. The tattooed stranger that visits her at both jobs, and defends her when an unruly customer tries to grab at her. There’s clearly attraction, but no names have been exchanged and their conversations are far too short.

When a coworker at Secret Promises, a prestigious gentlemen’s club offers to put Sage in contact with a sugar daddy she’s skeptical, but agrees. Rhaegar (Rhaegs) isn’t what she expected. He’s a handsome silver fox that dresses her in luxury and fixes her money problems. When he mentions introducing her to his son that likes trains, Sage buys a toy train hoping to impress the kid. Except Rhaegs failed to inform her that his son is her age, and her love interest that’s been visiting her at work. Both Rhaegs and Dex are invested in winning over Sage, let the tug-o-war begin.
